About Let's Play Dead

Let's Play Dead is a continually growing body of work that began in 2007 by artist Ryan Patterson. At first glance, the work may represent pain and illness, loss and death, and all the "when it rains, it pours" that go along with it. It's when one looks deeper into the art, it has a way of making you smile and see the beauty in just about any situation. Every cloud has a silver lining, but, sometimes, it's just hard to see (when it's two inches under blood).

About The Dolls

The dolls are all original, one-of-a-kind creations, meticulously crafted over the course of one month to a year in Patterson's Los Angeles Studio. The Studio seconds as a gallery, providing the greatest complement for the work as a whole, and is available for viewing by appointment.
