Who We Are
Let’s Play Dead is a Los Angeles-based art project creating handmade dolls, characters, and collectible objects with strange, theatrical, and slightly haunted point of view.
Each piece has its own personality, story, and presence; part object, part character, part little ghost from another room.
Meet the Artist.
Ryan Patterson is a Los Angeles–based artist from Malibu, California and the creator of Let’s Play Dead. His work blends macabre storytelling with meticulous craftsmanship, creating characters that feel both unsettling and strangely familiar. In parallel, he has spent over 25 years working in film and production design, shaping visual worlds through set building, props, and experiential environments.
